NU baseball falls to London

In a back-and-forth Central Buckeye Conference baseball game, London outlasted North Union, earning a 12-7 victory last Friday at North Union.

Things were pretty quiet through the first innings as North Union scored the only run on a single by Jaxon Mabery that scored Tyler Krebehenne in the first inning.

London scored two runs in the top of the fourth but the Wildcats came right back and scored three times in the bottom of the inning.

One run scored on a single by Brooks Wills and other two runs scored on a London error and wild pitch.

After London cut the lead to 4-3 with a run in the fifth, North Union added to its total on a another run-scoring single by Wills.
