NU softball squad falls to Benjmain Logan at home following two strong innings by visiting crew, 11-3

Two big innings by Benjamin Logan proved to be too much for North Union in an 11-3 softball loss on Monday at North Union.

The Central Buckeye Conference contest was originally scheduled to be played at Benjamin Logan but weekend rains made the Lady Raiders field unplayable.

After a scoreless first three innings, Benjamin Logan scored six runs in the fourth inning.

The Lady Raiders had just two hits in the inning but were helped by two walks, a hit batter and three North Union errors.

The Lady Cats (5-3 overall, 0-1 CBC) cut the lead in half in the bottom of the fifth inning, They loaded the bases with one out on singles by Brenna Martino, Kailin McElroy and Rylee Fox loaded the base…
