Richwood

Spring has arrived

Village Administrator Monte Asher has announced that the restrooms at Richwood Park will be opened beginning Tuesday, April 1. With softball and baseball games beginning soon, the restroom facilities will be available for those visiting the park. The facilities will be locked at 10 p.m. each evening. Portable restrooms are also located at various locations in the park when other restrooms are locked. Asher also asks that visitors take care of the facilities and if you see something suspicious, to contact the police.

Brush pickup begins April 1

Monte Asher stated that the village employees will also be collecting brush from storm damage. Small tree branches must be located in the tree lawn and branches should face in one direction. No trash should be included in the paper bags, which are available at the hardware store and retail stores. Foreign objects that enter the shredder will damage the machine and the free service could be cancelled. If a resident pays a tree service to trim trees on their property, those are to be disposed of by the company trimming the trees.
