Auditor’s office outgrowing space

The Union County Auditor’s Office is running out of space.

That’s what Auditor Andrea Weaver told the county commissioners recently during the board’s regular session. She said, not unlike the community over all, her office is growing and with that, comes the need for more staff and more space.

She said that doesn’t mean, however, she’s looking to renovate her office, just to have more space available to the increasing demands of the job.

“Again, this isn’t about money, at least not to me,” she said. “We’re simply out of room.”
