Feels like spring sports

In the photo above, newly appointed head coach Chris Roseburrough (left) talks with pitcher Ashton Haubiel (middle) and catcher Miles Marlette (right) after changing up the pitching staff. In the photo below, North Union’s Tyler Krebehenne (left) slides to home plate after the opposing pitcher throws a wild ball during a home scrimmage against Ridgemont last Monday. The Wildcats, who won their first-ever Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division title last year, have two more scrimmages scheduled before opening the regular season at home on March 28 against Fredericktown. The softball and track teams are also preparing for the start of their regular season. The Lady Cats will take the field on March 24 at home against Riverside for their season opener while the tracksters start their season in a triangular meet at River Valley on April 1.
