Manhunt suspect wanted for kidnapping

Details emerge after arrest of Marion man

A man wanted for felony kidnapping was taken into custody after an hours-long manhunt in Richwood.

At 12:27 p.m., Feb. 28, Chief Jim Hill of the Richwood Police Department said that police were attempting to locate a wanted suspect, identified as Colton R. Gamble, 27, of Marion, who had an arrest warrant out of Marion County for “serious felony charges.”

According to court documents from Marion County Municipal Court, Gamble was charged with felony kidnapping of the first degree, abduction of the third degree, attempted felonious assault of the third degree and tampering with evidence of the third degree out of Marion County on Feb. 27.
