NU bowler prepares for OHSAA state tournament

For the first time since 2018 North Union will have a participant in the Ohio High School Athletic Association state bowling tournament.

Senior Montana Donohue will conclude a four-year Lady Cat career by being one of the individual bowlers that will be competing Friday at HP Lanes in Columbus.

Donohue, who has averaged 183 per game during the season, had a three-game series of 610 to finish third overall and second in the individual standings.

The top two individuals not on a state-qualifying team earned a spot in the tournament.

Donohue nearly was joined by her teammates as the Lady Cats were third as a team with a score …
