NU’s Hall joins 1,000-point club during win over Kenton

By By Bob Putman, Richwood Gazette

At one end of the gymnasium a banner hangs with the names of basketball players who have scored 1,000 points during their North Union boys or girls career.

Prior to last Tuesday, there were 15 members of the 1,000-point club.

That number increased by one as senior Miles Hall reached that milestone in leading North Union (10-9) to a 54-42 victory over Kenton on the NU hardwood.

Back-to-back threepoint field goals midway through the first quarter put Hall into the record books.

Getting a three-pointer to reach 1,000 points was probably fitting for Hall.

Through 19 games this season, 84 of his 128 made field goals have been three-point goals.
