Lady Cats suffer third loss of the season to Bloom-Carroll in regular season finale

North Union concluded its regular season last Saturday with maybe a good news-bad news situation.

The bad news was the Lady Cats suffered just its third loss of the season, falling 57-53, to Bloom-Carroll.

The good news was that even with the loss it was game that had a tournament feel to it and should help them get ready for an actual post-season contest.

“It is good for your team when you close your regular season with a game where every possession matters,” North Union Head Coach Mitchell Loomis said. “There were a lot of factors as to why we lost but at the end of the day we didn’t play well enough to win.”
