Pair charged with trafficking cocaine

A Columbus man and a Canal Winchester woman are being charged for trafficking nearly 270 grams of cocaine through Jerome Township.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Soorixay Xay Bouaroy, 39, of Columbus, for three felony counts of trafficking in cocaine of the first degree, three felony counts of possession of cocaine of the first degree, one count of felony possession of cocaine of the third degree and one felony count of receiving proceeds from an offense; which is subject to forfeiture proceedings.

Also indicted is Faith Lorrine Smith, 25, of Canal Winchester, for one count of first degree felony trafficking in cocaine and one count of first degree felony possession of cocaine.
