NU boys learn from previous encounter to defeat Indian Lake

The North Union boys basketball team was able to extract a little bit of revenge last Friday.

The Wildcats hooked up with Indian Lake for the second time in 10 days and this time the final result was more to their liking.

The Lakers won the first meeting on Jan. 7 but in the second matchup North Union led from beginning to end in earning a 55-48 victory.

The win upped the firstplace Wildcats’ Central Buckeye Conference record to 5-1 and they lead Indian Lake by one-half game in the Mad River Division.

North Union came out strong in the first quarter, outscoring Indian Lake 23-17 over the eight-minute span.

Miles Hall and Tyler Krebehenne combined for 17 points …
