NU boys bowling program sets school record

The North Union boys bowling team set a school record but it was not enough as the Wildcats lost 2575-2493 to Benjamin Logan.

The final count broke the two-game, four baker match score 2460 set in 2018.

Zach Howald led the way with games of 212 and 225 for a 437 series while Logan Otten had a series of 396, which included a 230 game.

Other series for North Union were a 329 by Chase Copas and 314 series by Riley Otten. Braden Rhodes and Nathan McCaul had singles game of 139 and 100 respectively.

The girls team also came up a little short, losing 2156-2129.

Montana Donohue paced the Lady Cats with a 400 series, which included a 211 game.

Emma McCaul had a 363 series and was followed by Lexi Bahan (309) and Alyssa Frisco (271). Rolling single games were Olyvia Frisco (93)) and Leila Hamilton (69).
