Michael “Mike” Huffman

Michael “Mike” Huffman, 52, of Urbana passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Springfield Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Following a 4-year battle with ALS. Michael was born on July 3, 1972, in Upper Sandusky Ohio to the late Ralph Huffman and Sue (Schmelzer) Huffman.

Mike graduated from North Union High School in Richwood, Ohio, in 1991. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, including deployment during the Iraq War. Before his wartime service, he was stationed in Korea. After many dedicated years, Mike retired from the Army as a mechanic, leaving behind a legacy of service and commitment.
