Work continues on the Cadence Solar project

Union County residents living in or near the Cadence Solar project area will continue to see construction activity through the winter season.

Erin Saal, the renewable development manager with Invenergy, the company behind the project, updated the county commissioners recently on the progress and where work stands after the initial construction began in the spring.

Saal said there are currently two separate contractors on-site in the northern part of the county, Motor City Electric Utilities and Blattner Energy.
