Woman charged in scissor attack

A Plain City woman could be facing as many as 16 years in prison after allegedly using scissors to assault a family member.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Chereese Lisa Lillard, 32, whose court-listed address is 7570 Westwood Drive, Plain City, charging her with two counts of felonious assault of the second degree, one count of domestic violence and one count of aggravated menacing.

According to court documents, on Nov. 7, Lillard’s male in-law, who lives with her, arrived home to find Lillard strangling his cat by a leash, “which had both front feet of the cat off of the ground.” The documents also say that the in-law noticed white foam…
