Richwood Farmer’s Market sees growth and change

The Richwood Farmer’s Market ends the year with notes of success and growth after a year of change.

At the regular meeting of village council, Shauna Chapman, manager of the Richwood Farmer’s Market, said that market traffic grew by twothirds compared to last year.

“As far as customers, we had a low of like 94 and a high of 195,” Chapman said. She added that they have four vendors with a high of 14, which is onethird higher compared to last year.

Chapman said that the market brought in 195$ for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), which was also an improvement on last year’s numbers.
