Logjam work to begin in December

Residents along Mill Creek should notice crews moving in to clear logjams starting the second week of December.

The Union County Commissioners approved the contract with H and H Land Clearing at the Wednesday regular board meeting. Now that it has been approved, the company can be released for construction.

H and H beat out four other companies that sent in bid packets, winning with the lowest bid of $2,676,715 for a project that was estimated to cost nearly $4 million.
