Richardson easily tops Verbus in Ohio house race

Marysville’s Tracy Richardson has been reelected to a fourth term in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Richardson, a Republican, defeated Democratic challenger Lesley Verbus in the Nov. 5 election to represent Ohio’s 86th House District which includes all of Union and much of Marion counties.

According to unofficial results from the Union and Marion county election boards, Richardson earned 36,807 votes, nearly 69% of the vote, while Verbus earned 16,587.
