A Plain City man has been charged with voting illegally.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted James Anthony McDonald, 62, of 7304 Weldon Road, Plain City, charging him with four counts of illegal voting.

Union County Prosecutor Dave Phillips said McDonald is a permanent resident of the United States but is not a U.S. citizen.

Phillips said McDonald is a citizen of Jamaica.
