NU’s Kennedy Ludwig makes the most of her first OHSAA state cross country appearance

One Lady Cat made the most of her first trip to the OHSAA state cross country meet.

The experience, while hectic, did not disappoint.

Kennedy Ludwig was the sole competitor for North Union during the 2024 state meet at Fortress Obetz last weekend.

Ludwig’s first race at the state level culminated in an 80th place finish with a time of 20:10.14.

“I am feeling really good,” Ludwig said after completing the state course. “I liked that there were a lot of people.

“I’ve never run with this many people in packs, so I feel like it was a different experience trying to move throughout the course…
