Lady Cat punches ticket for OHSAA state meet

North Union sophomore Kennedy Ludwig has put together a pretty impressive resume during the 2024 cross country season.

That resume now includes a first-time appearance in Ohio High School Athletic Association cross country state championships.

Ludwig will be among the participants that will compete in the Division III meet on Saturday at Fortress Obetz and Memorial Park.

She earned the spot as a result of her 19th place finish last Saturday in the regional meet at Pickerington North. Ludwig finished the race with a time of 20 minutes, 5:31 seconds, her best time of the year.

During the regular season earning a top-10 finish was the norm for Ludwig.
