UCHD plans shot, tire events at fairgrounds

The Union County Health Department will be holding a couple events at the end of this week.

On Friday, Oct. 11, the department is running its annual drive-thru flu vaccination clinic at the Union County Fairgrounds.

Those interested in getting the shots can visit from 9-11 a.m. Drivers are encouraged to use the entrance on Route 4.

Vaccinations are done by appointment.

“Drive-ups are welcome as time and supplies allow. This drive-thru clinic is open to children and adults ages six months and older,” according to the health department. “Regular flu shots as well as the highdose flu shot (which is recommended for individuals …
