100 YEARS AGO

Thursday, October 10, 1924

The old brick dwelling home on north Franklin street formerly known as the Aunt Susie Swartz home is being razed. The yard will be turned into the Hamilton farm and cultivated. This house is one of the old landmarks and is remembered by the oldest inhabitants as one of the first buildings in this section. It is said to be a hundred years old.
