NU soccer squad ties with Bellefontaine and London

The range of emotions for the North Union soccer team on Wednesday in its match against Bellefontaine went from great to not-so-great and back to great.

Scoring three goals in the first eight minutes of the first half, the Lady Cats had things going their way.

Bellefontaine rebounded with four goals, including one with 6:02 left in the second half to take a 4-3 lead.

But the never-give-up attitude of North Union brought it back about a minute later as Leah Matlack shot it past the Bellefontaine goalkeeper and the Lady Cats finished with a 4-4 tie.
