Wildcats fall to undefeated Hillclimbers during homecoming contest, 24-6

The task for the North Union football team was two-fold as it prepared for Friday’s home game against Urbana.

Through the first four contests of the season, the Hillclimbers had shown they could move the ball via the ground game and also with a passing attack.

“Their offense makes you make choices,” NU Head Coach Nick Hajjar said, adding you have to decide to close up the box or spread it out a little bit.

There were times the Wildcats were able to balance the two, but it was not enough as Urbana was able to earn a 24-6 victory.

The setback spoiled Homecoming festivities for queen Kelsie Price and king Christian Vance.
