A deputy was sent to the Fairfield County Jail at 6:17 p.m., Sept. 16 to take custody of Alexander C. Plank, 36 of Richwood, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Plank was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.

Cody R. Marschak, 27, of Valparaiso, Indiana, was cited for failure to control. At 3:46 p.m., Sept. 17, Marschak was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado on Route 31, north of Cunningham Arbela Road, when they drove off the road, overcorrected, and then drove into the opposite lane of travel, causing a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse to strike the back of a 2016 Mazda CX-5 that had taken evasive action to avoid hitting Marschak’s Silverado. Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin-Northwest Union County Fire District responded to the property…
