NU retiree honored

Julia deJonge recently retired from North Union after 31 years of teaching Spanish. On top of teaching, she also acted as the Spanish Club Advisor and the National Honor Society Advisor. Justin Ufferman, Superintendent at North Union, said deJonge brought honor to NHS. “She really elevated that program, got it better organized and brought some honor to the position,” Ufferman said.
