NU golf teams fall to Springfield Shawnee

The North Union boys golf team lost 157-165 to Springfield Shawnee last Tuesday.

Miles Hall paced the Wildcats with a 37. Jaxon Jolliff posted a 37 and he was followed by Ethan Monroe (42), Reese Spriggs (47), Wyatt Davis (48) and Braylen Riffle (50).

In a girls golf match earlier in the week, North Union split against Northwestern and Urbana.

Northwestern had a 202, North Union finished with a 212 and Urbana had a 236.

Madelyn Taylor paced the Lady Cats with a 46 and was followed by Kelsie Price (51), Charlee Brestle (54) and Gabby Lindsey (61).
