Lady Cat CC team takes second in Triad Invitational

North Union finished second this past weekend in the girls race of the Triad Invitational.

The Lady Cats totaled 44 points, five points behind first-place Urbana.

Kennedy Ludwig was the individual champion with a winning time of 20 minutes, 36 seconds.

North Union had two other top 10 placers.

Kailin McElroy was sixth (22:08) and Lauren Hall was seventh (22:21).

Also running were Savannah Amstutz (15th, 23.24), Allana Smith (33rd, 25:48) and Josie Held (35th, 26:36).

The boys team finished sixth with 155 points.

Felix Plouck led the Wildcats, finishing sixth in the time of 17:37.

Also running were Mack Marlette (22nd, 19:28), Max Leavitt (40th, 20:37), Drew Chadwell (52nd, 21:46), Colton Smith (55th, 22.20), Wyatt Roby (58th, 22;32), Jack Hoover (59th, 22:35), Phllip Ardery (64th, 23:37) and Bradley Cline (66th, 24:00).
