North Union fell behind early and could not catch up as the Lady Cats lost 10-1 to Urbana on Monday at North Union.

Peyton Mounce scored three of her five goals in the first half as the Hillclimbers led 6-0 at the half.

While not able to overcome the early deficit, North Union (2-7) kept up the fight in the second half and that effort was rewarded by a goal by Kale Keigley at the 10:31 mark of the second half.

Goalkeeper Kailyn Colegrove had 17 saves.

The Lady Cats return to action on tonight as they host Northwestern.

In a one-half junior varsity contest, North Union blanked Urbana 2-0.
