Marriott, of Richwood, and Conrad, of Magnetic Springs won the doubles in the tennis tournament. The winners defeated Sawyer and Carmean, of Marysville. After the first set the winners decisively showed their superiority to the defeated team.

Through the courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Converse and son Roger, the Work and Win class and families and the young people’s class, the Golden Rule Band of the Claiborne M. P. Sunday school, had an old-fashioned chicken roast in the Converse woods south of Claiborne last Monday evening. Camp fires were burning and the evening was especially fine for the occasion.
