Richwood Independent Fair

School began this week, so that means that the Richwood Independent Fair is just around the corner. Mark your calendar for Aug. 28 through Sept. 2 for the yearly event that takes place at the Richwood Fairgrounds. Due to road construction on S. Franklin Street, fairgoers are asked to come into the fair from the Race Road entrance. For those children through adults who like to display their open class handiwork in sewing, crafts, plants, garden produce, photography, woodworking, etc., the deadline to get them registered is this Sat., Aug. 17 by 4 p.m. Staff will be on hand this week from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. until the deadline in the secretary’s building.
