Area News – Marysville leaders create wish-list for city

Members of the Marysville city council, staff, administration and other stakeholders spent last week’s session talking about their goals and visions for the city.

The nearly four-hour meeting wound through a series of topics and threads, culminating in a list of goals, including: – Economic growth focused around higher education/ wage jobs – Help develop the missing middle housing market – Complete the visioning plan (followed by the comprehensive plan update) – Maintain small-town feel – Creating an environment to attract young people and families – Maintain quality infrastructure – Improve traffic management – Develop a fiscal model to facilitate goals and community wants.Read this entire article as it appeared in print in our eEdition
