Lady Cats host Panthers for preseason scrimmage ahead of 2024 fall campaign

The North Union volleyball team has been holding practices as it prepares for the 2024 season.

The Lady Cats had their first encounter with somebody not wearing orange and black this past Tuesday as they held a scrimmage against Fairbanks on the North Union hardwood.

Head Coach Alexis Maenz and her players are going through a gettingto- know each other phase at this moment.

The Lady Cats graduated eight players from last year’s team and they have just three seniors and two returning letterwinners.

But Maenz has already seen some good things coming from this year’s squad.
