Final piece of Magnetic Springs sewer project funding readied

The final details are being ironed out for the Magnetic Springs sanitary sewer project and the last major piece in the puzzle is about to be submitted.

Union County Commissioners approved a measure allowing officials to move forward on the funding application at a meeting last month but since the project has a variety of funding mechanisms, officials were waiting on those to be finalized before sending out for the state’s Community Development Block Grant funds.
