Lady Cat spikers take instruction from Bowling Green volleyball coach and alumni during high school camp

The North Union volleyball team heard from some different voices during its annual high school camp as the Lady Cats prepare for the 2024 season.

In the past years, head coach Alexis Maenz and her assistant coaches piloted the camp.

However, this year Maenz turned over the reins to an outside source.

Alex DelPiombo, the associate head volleyball coach at Bowling Green State University, and a pair of BGSU alumni, Katelyn Meyer and Taylor Haberland, brought a different tone and look than in the previous years.

“When I was a player in high school our coaches brought in other people,” Maenz said. “I feel it gives the girls different opportunities to hear from other voices.”
