Sheriff’s Report

Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Lilly Snyder, 22, of Marion and Michael Robinson, 21, of Otway Road that occurred on Columbus Avenue at 2:40 p.m. May 31. Reports indicate Snyder was driving on Columbus Avenue when Robinson pulled out in front of her vehicle, causing her to strike his vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Robinson was cited for driving onto the roadway.

While investigating a driving complaint on Route 4, a deputy stopped the suspect vehicle near Route 347 at 11:20 p.m. June 1. The driver, Floriberto S. Aguilar Santizo, 29, of Marion, was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

A deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Hoover Moffitt Road to take possession of a debit card that was found inside a tow truck at 5:17 p.m. June 2.

Deputies responded to the 24000 block of Route 31 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado that drove off the road and into a ditch at 6:18 p.m. June 2.

A deputy met with an officer from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to take custody of Brittany R. Ferguson, 39, of Magnetic Springs, for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:30 p.m. June 2. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

A deputy investigated the theft of a credit card that was taken from a residence in the 18000 block of Main Street in Broadway at 9:11 a.m. June 3.

A deputy was sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Hinton Mill Road to investigate the possible theft of a 2013 Honda Pilot at 3:13 p.m. Monday.

A deputy met with residents from the 21000 block of Route 739 to investigate the theft of money from a bank account at 1:45 p.m. June 4.

Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol were sent to the 32000 block of Route 31 to investigate a dispute between a construction crew and a homeowner at 3:56 p.m. June 4.

Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to a residence in the 29000 block of McMahan Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 4:53 p.m. June 4.

A deputy located and took possession of a license plate that was found in the 19000 block of Raymond Road at 5:38 p.m. June 4.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 10:29 p.m. June 4. The parties were separated.

Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol were dispatched to a property in the 7300 block of Hinton Mill Road to investigate an underage party at 12:16 a.m. June 5.

A deputy investigated a dispute between a motorist and a construction worker that occurred near the intersection of Route 37 and Ira Bean Parkway at 10:40 a.m. June 5.

A deputy was sent to a construction site near the intersection of Ewing Road and Blaney Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 12:25 p.m. June 5.

A deputy and units from the Southeast Hardin-Northwest Union County Joint Fire District responded to Shertzer Road near Cunningham Arbela Road for a motorist that attempted to drive through high water and became stranded at 9:31 a.m. June 6. The driver was safely extricated.

A deputy was sent to a residence in the 33000 block of Route 31 to investigate a dispute between the homeowner and a motorist 1:37 p.m. June 6. The motorists left the property.

A deputy and units from the Marysville Police Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to Northwest Parkway near U.S. 33 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2022 Kia Soul and a 2020 Honda Civic at 5:30 p.m. June 6. The driver of the Kia, Mary I. Davis, 62, of Magnetic Springs, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield right of way while turning left.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Ford Reed Road for a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 8:43 p.m. June 6.
