Magnetic Springs man indicted on multiple domestic violence-related charges

A Magnetic Springs man could be facing more than a decade in prison, accused of attacking a local woman.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Eric Benjamin Light, 43, of 128 Main St., Apartment B, in Magnetic Springs, charging him with one count each of strangulation, felonious assault, domestic violence and aggravated menacing.

According to court documents, on May 6, the Union County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 from an individual explaining that his daughter was at the Magnetic Springs address and had threatened suicide.
