Council news

Financial issues were settled at Unionville Center Village Council meeting on May 8. The village received an invoice from Ashley Johns, their previous solicitor, for $1,000 for the period of June-October, 2023. She apologized for not sending it sooner. Council also received their first invoice from their new solicitor, Jennifer Huber with Brosius, Johnson & Griggs, LLC for $1,250. Fiscal Officer Lynford Schrock reported that enough funds had not been appropriated to cover the siren repairs and the solicitor invoices. Therefore, he presented a Supplemental Appropriations Ordinance 2024-02 for consideration It was passed unanimously.
