NU senior given Master Gardener scholarship

North Union High School senior Chloe Hall was presented with the Union County Master Gardner Scholarship this year for $2,000.

The Union County Master Gardeners is a not-for-profit organization that promotes environmentally sound, research-based gardening practices primarily to residents of Union County under the auspices of The Ohio State University Extension of Union County.

The motto of the Union County Master Gardeners is To Teach – To Learn – To Serve. Our mission is to improve horticultural knowledge and practices in Union County by providing education for the public and our members. One of the ways we provide education is to sponsor a scholarship to a Union Co…
