North Union takes third in Mad River Division during conference meet

North Union finished third in the Mad River Division part of the Central Buckeye Conference girls track championships last week at Benjamin Logan.

The Lady Cats totaled 78 points while Benjamin Logan won the meet with 156 points.

The Wildcats placed fifth in the boys meet, scoring 68 points. Shawnee captured the title with 157 points.

Gabby Lindsey paced the North Union girls team, winning one individual title and took part in a winning relay team.

Lindsey won the 400 in the time of 1:00.14 and teamed with Lauren Hall, Savannah Amstutz and Kennedy Ludwig to win the

4×800 in a meet-record time of 10:13.19.
