Wildcats outlast visiting Raiders

North Union picked up its 10th win of the season with an 8-7 win over Benjamin Logan last Monday in baseball action at North Union.

Trailing 4-1, the Wildcats (10-6 overall, 6-6 Central Buckeye Conference) scored five runs in the fourth inning. They added two runs in the sixth inning and then held off a Benjamin Logan rally in the seventh inning.

Tyler Krebehenne and Drew Schmidt each drove in two runs.

Connor Lassiter, Ashton Haubiel, Mason Bright, Caden Potts and Krebehenne each singled.

Krebehenne pitched a complete game, allowing seven hits, striking out nine and walking one.
