Lady Cats fall short in final regular season home game against Benjamin Logan, 6-1

The final regular season home game did not go the way the North Union softball team had hoped.

A four-run second inning helped Benjamin Logan to a 6-1 victory over the Lady Cats.

The game marked the end of regular-season home games for seniors Emma Padovano, Ryleigh Rasey, Reese DeCamp, Zoe Wedding and Savannah Queen.

“It is sad this is one of the last part of my senior season and not being part of this anymore,” said Padovano. “It has been fun and on our team it is not about one person.”

North Union Head Coach Pat Grove was experiencing his first-ever Senior Night.
