NUMS track squads sweep at Mechanicsburg

North Union Middle School’s track teams swept the Mechanicsburg Invitational last Friday.

The Wildcats scored 74 points in the boys meet, edging out Bellefontaine by three points.

Triad finished third with 62 points, Fairbanks was seventh with 43 and Bunsold Middle School was 11th with 29.

The Lady Cats easily outdistanced the field in the girls meet, totaling 100 points to lead second- place River Valley by 34.5 points.

Fairbanks was third with 62, points, Bunsold was fifth with 48 points and Triad finished sixth with 46 points.
