Christopher D. Woods, 25, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control following a crash at 8:42 a.m., March 8 at Route 31, south of State Route 739. Woods was driving a 2024 Kia Forte, went off the road, then hit a guardrail and a utility pole. A crash report was taken.

Patsy A. Campbell, 64, of Marion, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash at 4:10 p.m., March 8. Campbell was driving a 2016 Honda CR- V in the 27000 block of Route 4 and hit the back of a 2015 Honda Civic. A report was taken.

Deputies were sent to a home on Maple Street in Broadway at 10:38 a.m., March 9, for a person experiencing a mental health…
