Hartings named Eagle Scout

Ian Hartings, son of John and Angie Hartings, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on Jan. 30 with Troop 440, Richwood. Hartings will soon have his Eagle Court of Honor to celebrate this accomplishment. Hartings’ scouting career started as a Tiger Cub in Pack 100 in Waverly, Ohio. In Boy Scouts, Hartings has held may leadership positions. He has served as quartermaster, scribe, patrol leader, assistant patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader. Along the long road to achieving his Eagle Scout rank, Hartings has completed 14 Eagle-required merit badges as well as 18 other badges. His favorite activity as a Boy Scout was Florida Sea base and the memories/experiences he gained there. He also had a great time w…
