NUMS captures eighth grade title

The North Union Middle School captured the Greater Buckeye Conference eighth-grade title on Saturday with a 42-26 victory over Northwestern. The Lady Cats finished the season undefeated at 19-0. Reesyln Riffle led the way with 19 points while Glory Blevins and Leah Cox each had eight points. The seventh grade team (15-4) also played for a title but lost 34-29 to London.
