Wildcats compete at Whetstone duals

The North Union wrestling won five of six matches on Saturday at the Whetstone Duals.
The Wildcats defeated Thomas Worthington, Whetstone, Linden McKinley, Beechcroft and Africentric. The loss came against Delaware Hayes.
Zayne Leiter, Heath Ferguson, A.J. Leeson and Tyler Cline went 6-0 while Kingston Alvardo posted a 3-0 mark. Winning five matches were Kannan Alvarado and Kadrin Riffle while earning four wins were Josh Ahern, Braylen Riffle and Ben Bonnell.
North Union Middle School finished third at the Central Buckeye League championships.
Winning an individual title at 134 was Jack Kemp.
Earning second-place finishes were Wyatt Stacklin, Collin Welch, Jaystin Beeney and Broden O’Reilly. Luke Brown and Noah Huddleston picked up a third-place slot and Jaxon Mabery and Kory Ransome each had a fourth-place finish.
