Transportation provider receives Golden Nugget

The local health department recently honored a woman working to ensure community members have the transportation needed to get – or keep a job.

During a January meeting of the UC MOVES Coalition, Penny Wood with A Way Out Transportation, received the 2023 Golden Nugget Award.

Created in 2022, the award is given to a Union County transportation provider who demonstrates exceptional efforts within the transportation community.
