Trio of Wildcats take home All-Ohio football honors

A trio of North Union football players received All-Ohio recognition in Division V from the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.

Senior Carter Skaggs was named as a second- team punter, senior Nolan Draper was a third-team defensive back and senior Rylan Keever was a honorable mention offensive lineman.

“It is exciting for the players in our program,” NU Head Coach Nick Hajjar said. “It is a great honor for all of them as we build on the North Union tradition.”

Skaggs averaged 39.9 yards per punt, which ranked him third in the Central Buckeye Conference. As the Wildcats’ quarterback he passed for 1166 yards and 10 touchdowns.
